A relaxed Blanca Suárez enjoying the tranquility of the Mediterranean perfectly reflects the freedom of each one to be different.
“Freedom to be different” is a declaration of intentions by MR. BOHO for the next spring/summer 24 season. The claim of its new campaign reflects the commitment of the firm in its fearless commitment to what is different, the avant-garde and the latest trends, as well as to adapt to changes and be in constant evolution.
For this new collection MR. BOHO has counted on the actress Blanca Suárez as the image of the campaign, freedom being one of the elements that define her. With a fresh, fun and carefree image with the Mediterranean Sea and its light as witnesses, Blanca looks radiant in several models of the collection, representing the characteristics and values of the brand and its campaign, enjoying the tranquility without ties. “Seeing Blanca Suárez relaxed and enjoying the tranquility, faced with the image that we can all have of her frenetic and demanding professional life, seemed to us the perfect way to reflect the freedom that each of us has to be different” explain those responsible for MR. BOHO.
In this new campaign, MR.BOHO maintains several of its most recognized models that have become an object of desire for many, among which stand out some iconic models of the brand such as Jordaan or Dalston; and the more recent arrivals Logan and Sagene. In addition, the firm continues to strongly support the Frelard frame which, in the Treat shade, became the bestseller of 2023. But it also presents 4 new frames in both sun and prescription, relying as always on the latest global trends with a close and accessible approach.
“Freedom to be different” also coincides with the launch of a restyling of the brand’s image after its first 10 years. In addition, the new collection introduces some significant nuances that represent a certain turning point in relation to its previous collections, such as the introduction of monochrome geometric micropatterns or complex faceted shapes.
In short, this is not just a new collection, but a manifesto that is absolutely inherent to the brand about the legitimacy of changing while remaining faithful to ourselves, an element that constitutes the great creative engine and source of inspiration.

She’s at her best. After starring in Álex de la Iglesia’s latest wild comedy, El cuarto pasajero, we went to Paris with the actress, an Etam ambassador, to show why she’s a cover girl.
She loves to travel, so, although we are in Paris shooting this report – together with the Etam brand, of which she is an ambassador – and next week she flies to New York, she is already planning the Christmas ski trip. But she reserves the holidays to be at home with her family, to decorate the house and to ask 2023 to stay as it is: “I have been asking for this wish for many years, since I became aware of how well things have always gone for me. I am happy, I am healthy, my needs are covered and my family is fine; I can’t ask for more”, she tells us, affectionately.
You are on the cover of our magazine… I suppose that after seeing you on the facade of El Corte Inglés, this must not impress much anymore… does one get used to that?
It continues to impress. Although it is inevitable, it is a mistake to normalize seeing you on the marquees because you are releasing a film or your friends sending you photos when you pass by an Etam store. It is strange… Although it is exciting, you do not identify much with that big image that you are seeing. And when I walk past them in person, I feel embarrassed in case someone notices it’s me. My mother gets more compliments for advertising campaigns than for her daughter’s new project…You are able to go unnoticed: you walk the dog, ride a scooter, go shopping… is it a question of attitude?
Yes. Under normal conditions, I have no problems. I don’t attract attention at all… I don’t go to a shopping centre on a Friday night either! You are an approachable person, how do you manage to keep your feet on the ground?
A priori, I would say that I am a fairly normal person… even more so than others who are not dedicated to this (laughs). My environment is outside the show business and my close friends, those from school, have absolutely random professions, but more exciting than mine. I am lucky to live exciting and special moments, but the rest of the days I lead a very normal life, what are called errands. You have always been very mature and focused, but lately I have noticed that you are opening up more to the press: have you lost your fear, do you care less about what people say?
I was born an older woman (laughs). I have always been quite calm and mature, although I have my things… I don’t think I have relaxed now, I still have clear limits that I don’t want to cross, but not because I want to hide things, but because I don’t talk about certain things with strangers… I am not at all shy with my environment, but talking to the press is like telling something to the class gossip. Would you do it? Of course, I don’t hide: I come and go from my house with whoever I want. What do you ask of a brand to represent it?
First, to be a potential consumer: would I spend my money on it? Only if the answer is yes, I take a step forward. I like to feel proud of being the visible face, for example, of Etam. Second, I try to create a family with the team so that these collaborations are long-term.What trends have you won over this season and which ones would you not follow even if you were crazy?
Age has taught me that ‘never say I won’t drink from that water’ (laughs). I never thought I would wear shoulder pads again and I have my closet full of them! But not low-rise skinny jeans… I haven’t gone back to fishnet stockings either.Do you enjoy fashion? You have always taken a lot of risks, especially in makeup, creating trends…
I enjoy it a lot, I like to play and take advantage of the privileged opportunity I have to access great professionals to create sessions like the one in this report. If I didn’t go to the Goya awards, I wouldn’t be able to wear a princess dress… it’s a stroke of luck. It’s an important part of my job and I enjoy it, although on a day-to-day basis I’m much more of a mess. You’ve just released El cuarto pasajero. The best thing about filming this mischievous comedy under the direction of Álex de la Iglesia has been…
He’s a wild guy in every sense of the word and he puts you in situations that you rarely see with other directors. Working with him is something unique and, although you end up completely exhausted, after a few months you forget about it and you do it again… He has a fantastic inner world and becoming part of that world is very fun. Everything he imagines in his head, he manages to put into practice on the set and that’s a rarity.Has the idea of producing ever crossed your mind?
Phew! It’s very difficult, I think I’m in pre-school production. I’m drawn to the technical side and the construction of a project, but I still have a lot to learn in front of the camera to move over, in the short term, to the ‘dark side’ (laughs).

We spent a day with the actress and Guerlain ambassador to film this 100% inspiring beauty film. We spoke to her about beauty tips, the magic of living a thousand lives, her addiction to lipsticks and her latest beauty discoveries.
“A day in my life can become a little roller coaster”, confesses Blanca Suárez (Madrid, 1988). And we can understand why she says that. When we filmed this beauty film, the actress was about to premiere her latest film, El cuarto pasajero, directed by Álex de la Iglesia (already in cinemas), and she was immersed in a kind of whirlwind of interviews and photo sessions. The Madrid native has become an essential face on the big screen, in any self-respecting media outlet and in the most coveted advertising campaigns. If her life is the roller coaster she talks about, right now the actress is linking one ‘loop’ after another at breakneck speed. And without losing her smile, mind you. Today, we sneak into a very special photo session for the beauty firm Guerlain, of which she is an ambassador, and we become her shadow from the moment she gets up until the final clapperboard sounds. What is your beauty routine in the morning? What does she usually do during the long make-up sessions before starting to shoot? What does she see when she looks in the mirror? Where could we find her after a hard day of shooting? In short, what is a day in the life of Blanca Suárez like? 3, 2, 1, action!
What is Blanca Suárez’s day-to-day life like? What would we be surprised to discover?
You’re probably expecting my day-to-day life to be surprising or exciting, but it’s much more boring than it seems. Yes, it can be a bit of a roller coaster. That could be the first definition of this job: there are ups and downs, there are times when everything is very stressful, and you go around like a headless chicken; other times there is a balance and you are calmer… and other times it’s nothing. This does a lot to you. They are side effects of my profession. The truth is that from the outside it may seem a bit chaotic but, when you get used to it, it’s not so bad.“One of the best things about this profession is that you find yourself in situations that, if you didn’t do this, you wouldn’t be able to access”, you have said on occasion. How, for example?
My profession has allowed me to live many things: many different lives in one, discover beauty products, meet people, travel the world… For example, seeing the sunrise inside the Alhambra, filming Carlos V Rey Emperador. That was incredible. I have had the opportunity to experience very brutal things. I have been in baseball fields in New Jersey, closed just for us. A film shoot opens the doors of hell sometimes if necessary… (laughs). The day begins and the alarm clock rings. Is it a pleasure to wake up?
I don’t know if there is anything that gives me special pleasure as soon as I wake up, I mean, I would like to go back to bed… (laughs). Getting up early has never been my thing, honestly. Every eight minutes the alarm goes off… and it goes off a total of five times. And there are times when it has gone off all five times and it is hard for me to wake up. I make a coffee, take a shower and try to start the day. Right now I am in that phase of trying to change my routines and I am starting to do workouts before going to work, which was unthinkable before. If I start the day with energy and physical activity I am much more awake.Finding a space for yourself, to take care of yourself, is it an option or a necessity?
It is an obligation. There are times when it is very difficult, but it is important to be firm in respecting a space for yourself, to pamper yourself, to not neglect yourself. I am not just talking physically, I am talking mentally, about you, about your energy. Not neglecting yourself is very important to keep yourself looking good. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Very little! I am lucky that I am prepared at work, so I get up, take a shower and leave as is. And then there are professionals who take care of me (laughs). What can’t be missing from your daily beauty routine?
Cleansing milk, toner and Abeille Royale oil, which gives me a lot of luminosity and juiciness to face the day. Then, moisturizing cream and eye contour. What is the best beauty advice you have ever been given?
One from my mother, which is to clean your skin very well. It is the basis for wearing makeup, for maturing with beautiful skin, because there is only one type of skin and if you don’t take care of it, you are shooting yourself in the foot. That is the secret to showing off your skin: cleansing, moisturizing and taking care of it, giving it what it needs, because it is alive and you have to take care of it.Your latest beauty discovery?
KissKiss Bee Glow in orange, Guerlain mattifying powders (they’re amazing), and metallic lipsticks. I never believed I’d wear a metallic lipstick, and now I can’t take it off! When I need a boost of confidence, a red lip lifts me up any day.Is it true that lipsticks are your downfall?
Well, my downfall is shoes (laughs). Lipsticks, too. Lots, I have lots, and it’s true that I don’t think I’ve ever used up a lipstick in my life; I’ve had some for millions of years. I like to collect them. Also, since I’ve been working with Guerlain, a whole new world has opened up for me. Now I don’t just collect colours but also the cases; they’re jewels.A confessable beauty obsession?
I’m very obsessed with mascara and with combing my eyebrows. Well, to be honest, I have quite a few beauty obsessions.A tip to show off a good face that always works.
Massage your face while you apply the cream. Always do draining massages in an upward direction… Massages save me!What do you like to do while you’re in the dressing room, before shooting?
It’s a very special moment before going out to do a photo shoot or before going out to shoot. I like to be calm, without too much hustle and bustle because I get nervous. I catch up on emails, I leave everything I have pending in the inkwell closed, so that the rest of the day I can dedicate my energy to work. What is the secret to always coming out well?
Well, the photos we see are the result of many others that have been discarded. There is a great team: makeup, hair, styling, photography… but, above all, good lighting makes your day, even if you go with a clean face. What do you see in the mirror when you look at yourself?
I see many more defects than can be seen with other eyes; I see insecurities, I see a complete Blanca, one that she doesn’t show at work.“I like to be the owner of what I want to show”, you have commented on some occasions. Is it difficult, considering what you do?
It is difficult because people always want more than what you show. There is a type of press that is very interested in digging into your private life, and you can’t do anything about that. The only thing you can do is own what you show or not.Have the networks become an ally or an enemy to beat?
They are an ally, because they are a direct window to people. You can own what you show or create an image that you want to show to the world.Have you found your best version?
No. I am very nonconformist, so I will keep looking. Anyway, what you think is your best version today may not be tomorrow. I think it will be an eternal search.Which of your achievements are you most proud of?
Of all of them, because they all contribute, even those who are more or less average. Everything adds to what you are. And on a personal level, a bit the same. Do you know what I am proud of? Of keeping my friends from school, knowing that I have sincere, honest people who complement me. I am proud of the people around me and those I love. What does it mean to you to be a Guerlain ambassador?
Belonging to the great Guerlain family means many things. It is a dream. We have been working together for quite a few years, and I hope there will be infinite more. Suddenly I look back and, for example, having had the opportunity to have designed a case for a lipstick… There are many things that make me feel very proud. What is the best criticism you’ve ever received?
“You haven’t changed.” I think that’s a good compliment. I’m aware that you can’t please everyone and, honestly, there’s no point in trying to please them. I think there’s nothing like being yourself and being true to who you are and who you want to be.“Sometimes I’ve come to think that if I stayed super still I could be invisible”, we read in an interview with you. Is this a wish you still want to make come true?
I haven’t said that in any interview. In fact, it’s a phrase that sounds like one of the characters from “Guardians of the Galaxy.” If I wanted to be invisible, I honestly don’t think I would dedicate myself to this. Although I would buy it as a superpower. Invisibility is cool. The lights go out. What do you like to do to disconnect after a day of filming?
Shower, rest, be at home, if I can go to the movies… Things that have nothing to do with this.Where would we find you?
I’ll never say it. If I say it, ugh, how am I going to disconnect! How would you like to see yourself in the future?
Being able to live through things as brutal as those I’ve lived through these past 15 years, working on this, being calm because the people I love are fine, having learned a lot and lived a lot and, above all, calm, I hope!

Together with the performer Blanca Suárez, Cupra presents its new model: Formentor VZ5 Taiga Grey. The brand is betting on a more exclusive market model since only a total of 999 units have been manufactured, of which only 46 will remain in Spain.
If the Cupra Formentor VZ5 is the ultimate expression of sportiness and is aimed at true lovers of high-performance cars, the Cupra Fomentor VZ5 Taiga Gray is intended for those looking for more exclusivity, since it is a model limited of which only 999 units have been manufactured, of which 46 will remain in our country.
The car has been presented by one of Spain’s number one actresses, Blanca Suárez, who has already owned one of the exclusive units sold by the Spanish automotive brand. The interpreter says that “I have always liked cars that are unique and with a point of spectacularity… I love the CUPRA Formentor because it is a mix between sports car and SUV, because of its power, because of its special color, because of its car seats de carreras…” and that is, the new Cupra Fomentor VZ5 Taiga Gray has only been manufactured with the bodywork in its outstanding Taiga Gray color while the bucket seats have been made in an exclusive brown color intended only for this model with the seams in a Cooper tone, a color that is also present on the dashboard and doors.
The exclusivity of this car is present thanks to the fact that each Fomentor VZ5 Taiga Gray includes the number of each unit laser-engraved with a shaded badge, on the driver’s door panel. In addition, the car includes complete standard equipment without available options, that is to say, it is a full standard equipment. Among its equipment, the vehicle has the Beats Audio sound system—incorporates nine speakers, a Subwoofer, surround technology and a 340W power amplifier—as well as three systems to maximize the model’s safety that is included in the pre- collision (Pre Crash Assist), a knee airbag for the driver, rear side airbags and a volumetric alarm.
But the interpreter of El Cuarto Pasajero has not only opted for this model because of its exclusivity, but also because it shares the values that make up the Cupra brand. “It’s a brand that fits perfectly with me, with attitude, ambition and always being ready for whatever comes. In addition, I share the values with the entire team that is part of this Spanish brand. Behind its creation and behind every detail… They are people who have created a car that you look at from where you look at it is taken care of to the utmost detail and that goes perfectly with me”, she assured.
The model is already available, and has a cost of 73,590 euros.
